Victorian Carved Carnelian Ring

Created circa 1890 by Ripley Howland Manufacturing Co from Boston, Massachusetts, this intriguing Victorian jewel features a rectangular carnelian with a rich burnt orange color, carved intaglio with a woman in profile, and set in a notched frame. Flared shoulders fashioned with an uncommon design, along with an iridescent patina, add distinctive detail. Hand fabricated in 10K rosy-yellow gold, it is currently ring size 6 1/4 and engraved with ‘OHH HHT-BAR.’
